Zoom is an online video conferencing system licensed by the University of Minnesota used to host remote-instruction, virtual office hours, and webinars. The platform includes:

- Waiting rooms (great for office hours)

Set up
- Download the Zoom desktop app
- Set up meetings in Canvas or host an event
- Test or Join Audio and Video
- Attend a training about Zoom or see one of UMN’s Zoom Tutorials
- Learn how to access and manage Zoom recordings. Recordings are kept for 180 days.
